One Word Changed Everything
How a single verb shifted public opinion by 25 points
The Experiment
We gave the same 10 AI personas two statements about artificial intelligence. The only difference was a single word.
Variant A
“AI will take jobs”
Variant B
“AI will change jobs”
The results were dramatic. When the word was “take,” only 55% of personas responded positively. When it was “change,” that number jumped to 80%.

What This Means
Your audience does not react to your idea. They react to your words. The same concept—AI transforming the labor market—produces fear or optimism depending on verb choice alone.
